Alice In Chains have released a short documentary called “AIC23”. The documentary was produced by Alan Poole, a Film Studies Professor at a community college.
“AIC23” is a tongue-in-cheek film about Alan Poole’s attempt to provide some insight on the life of the band today, but with little luck reaching them, he then opts to interview other “musicians” who may or may not have been influenced by the band. The documentary film maker has given a phenomenal look at the band as they prepare to release their latest album The Devil Puts Dinosaurs Here (out on May 28, 2013 via Capitol Records.)
The documentary also features cameos by Metallica’s Lars Ulrich and Rob Trujillo, Heart’s Ann and Nancy Wilson, Pearl Jam’s Mike McCready, Soundgarden’s Kim Thayil and ex-Guns N’ Roses and Duff McKagan.
